Since 2006 Reality Check has teamed with DirecTV’s advanced services department in development of both HD and SD mix channels. The first interactive HD mix channel debuted in April of 2008 with the Masters experience that included 4 HD feeds and a realtime leaderboard. Then in September of 2008 RCS developed a HD version of the Sunday NFL Ticket’s 8 game feed mix channel.
Following the launch DirecTV and Reality Check rolled out applications for the remaining Golf majors, Tennis grand slams, MLB, Olympics, dedicated News and Sports channels. Also, included on these channels are interactive overlay elements that are developed by DirecTV’s advanced services department. RCS uses the VizRT platform to create the graphic templates for all of the mix channels.
